Threaded Buck Horn Sensor Mounting Crossarm BHC-36

Richards BHC-36 Wind Sensor Crossarm The Richards BHC-36, or Buck Horn Crossarm, is our custom designed heavy-duty sensor mounting crossarm. The BHC-36 is used to mount two C5 type anemometers or D5 type wind direction vanes. When mounted, the two wind sensors are positioned 36" apart on the female 3/4" NPT fittings. Both of the sensor cables are run through the center of the crossarm for maximum protection from the wind and weather. The crossarm has a 20" adjustable center mast, which allows the crossarm to be moved up, down, and rotated 360 degrees, for optimum sensor positioning. The BHC-36 assembly can be mounted directly to any of our SA-3, SA-5, or SA-6 type, horizontal booms with U-bolts included with the booms. The BHC-36 crossarm can also be mounted to your own mast, horizontal boom, or directly to the AWOS Tower with the center positioned Female 1" fitting on the crossarm. The Richards BHC-36 Crossarm is constructed from tough, 1-1/4", 16 gauge, steel tubing with a durable, corrosion resistant, red, powder-coated finish for many years of service.

Quick Disconnect Buck Horn Sensor Mounting Crossarm BHC-36-CL

Richards BHC-36 Wind Sensor Crossarm The Richards Quick Disconnect BHC-36-CL Buck Horn Sensor Crossarm, is our custom designed heavy-duty wind sensor mounting crossarm. The BHC-36-CL is used to mount two C5 type anemometers or D5 type wind direction vanes. When mounted, the two wind sensors are positioned 36" apart on stainless steel locking quick disconnect fittings. These fittings allow the anemometer and wind vane to be removed in seconds without tools. The quick disconnect fittings also allow the D5 Wind Direction Vane to be easily positioned facing north. Both of the sensor cables are run through the center of the crossarm for maximum protection from the wind and weather. The crossarm also has a 20" adjustable center mast, which allows the crossarm to be moved up, down, and rotated 360 degrees, for optimum sensor positioning. The BHC-36-CL assembly can be mounted directly to any of our SA-3, SA-5, or SA-6 type, horizontal booms with U-bolts included with the booms. The BHC-36 crossarm can also be mounted to your own mast, horizontal boom, or directly to the AWOS Tower with the center positioned Female 1" fitting on the crossarm. The Richards BHC-36-CL Crossarm is constructed from tough, 1-1/4", 16 gauge, steel tubing with a durable, corrosion resistant, red, powder-coated finish for many years of service.
