Online Wind Monitoring System
Real Time Wind Data | Live Camera | Logged Historical Data
Remotely View Wind and Temperature Conditions Online with our Online Wind Monitoring System
The Richards Online Wind Monitoring System is a graphical web interface. It allows users of our 490-A Wind Speed Monitor / Alarm and wind sensors to remotely view live as well as historical wind conditions. This online wind monitoring system gathers, displays, and stores wind and temperature data transmitted from a 490-A Wind Speed Monitor.
Components
Components of the most common system consists of a C5C Series Cup Anemometer and D5C Series Wind Vane which are hard wired to the 490-A Wind Monitor Display. In addition, the monitor can be wired to an optional RTD temperature sensor. The wind monitor can also display the current wind speed, direction and temperature right on the LCD Display.
Wireless
The 490-A Wind Speed Monitor automatically wirelessly transmits data to the C-24154 Wireless Gateway and on to our server. Wind and temperature data is then displayed and logged on the Wind Monitoring Web Interface. Users can also view the data online with a PC or smart phone.
Webcam
Another great feature of the wind monitoring system is the live webcam. The live video feed is from an outdoor web camera. The camera should have the wind sensors in view. In addition, the camera is hard wired to the wireless gateway. This camera also has night vision.
